According to the survey conducted in February 2024, buyers are increasingly attracted to cities due to a smart, green lifestyle and the availability of numerous services and job opportunities.
Lifestyles and New Preferences
Today, quality of life, the presence of green spaces, and sustainability are essential factors for anyone buying a home. The most sought-after residences are those that adapt to new ways of working and offer a balance between professional and personal life. The desire to live in environments with green areas, accessible services, and excellent public transport connections is driving the market.
Preference for Urban Contexts
The report reveals that 82 percent of respondents prefer to buy homes in urban and metropolitan settings, attracted by a dynamic and varied lifestyle and the opportunities offered by technological and innovative realities. Homes in neighborhoods that are well served and connected to city hubs are highly desired.
Importance of Building Quality
The quality of the property is at the center of buyers' preferences. Environmental factors, energy conservation, and the presence of green areas and private outdoor spaces are key. Homes equipped with advanced technologies to reduce energy costs are highly sought after. In addition, 74 percent of buyers consider the presence of outdoor spaces for private use indispensable.
Additional Services Required
Properties offering security (15 percent), reception and concierge services (14 percent), fitness areas and electric car charging stations (12 percent) are particularly attractive, just as with Eos.
Demand for dedicated bicycle and leisure spaces is also growing.
